SERGEY PALCHE

Each of my paintings is a spiral, it gives the impression of rotation and I would like to interpret this as a metaphor for constant cycles. The spiral is a symbol of cyclicality and repetitive movements that endlessly spiral out, creating new layers. It's like you're trying to break a vicious circle and leave, but the exit always leads to the same circle, and maybe that's the whole point of going back to where you came from.

Painting for me is a form of consciousness through swirling images, rhythm, representing cyclicality.
